Joint IDSS development discussions done at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in December 8-21

As the conclusion of the CECAM project is approaching, the synergies of the project team is now geared towards the development of Integrated Decision Support System (IDSS) that would enable and empower local government for better coastal management approach.
The Philippine counterparts from the University of the Philippines led by Dr. Ariel C. Blanco and Dr. Eugene C. Herrera and their researchers went to the Tokyo Institute of Technology from December 8-21, 2013 to present some progress of the project activities and discuss in detail the damage potential mapping, the IDSS methodology and implementation as this becomes the highlight in the last phase of the project.
The meeting series was actively facilitated by Professor Kazuo Nadaoka.
